Saving tropical forests
together

Local communities are key to climate resilience in the face of human-caused climate-driven wildfires in tropical forests, across sources, from farms to pasture and peatland.

Tropical Fire partners will drastically cut uncontrolled forest fires over the next decade.

Our stage

Tropical Fire is an ambitious response to the global need to drastically reduce the impact of destructive wildfires, focused on tropical forests. Tropical Fire was inspired by the successful wildfire risk reduction and response program in Nigeria - a Small Mammal Conservation Org. (SMACON) project that collaborates with forest communities in Cross River, Nigeria.
